MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFG’s global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific About the Role: Position Title: Murex Developer Position details: The role exists within the Murex Development function which undertakes a series of small developments on our Murex 3.1 platform based upon requests that have been sent via our business stakeholders or Technology teams. We are looking to hire a senior Murex specialist to undertake all aspects of development. The role will be solely focused on Murex but the candidate will need to be able to liaise and communicate with business stakeholders as well as Technology teams that interface the application. Roles and Responsibilities: - Provide Murex technical expertise on all areas of the Murex platform utilized by MUFG - Liaise directly with business stakeholders to illicit and validate requirements - Managing all stages of development from requirements gathering through to delivery - Act as second line support to the Murex Support teams to provide SME technical experience and guidance where necessary - Proactively seek to improve and enhance existing processes and alignment to best practice on the Murex platform Job Requirements: - Expert understanding of Murex v3.1, with more than 5 years' experience focusing on; - All aspects of datamart reporting including dynamic tables, simulations & data dictionary - Deep understanding of the relation database model employed by Murex - SME expertise in pre-trade and post trade MXML workflows - Understanding of market data sheets, curve construction and curve assignments - Product knowledge - Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives is preferred - Proven track record of delivering to financial institutions - Understanding of 3rd party batch schedulers (Control-M or similar) - Understanding of software development methodology (SDM) - Appreciation of change management process and software release processes (version control) Personal Requirements: - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality. - Proactive and accountable with a structured approach to work. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. - Calm and composed under pressure.
