Hiring: L2 Network Support Engineer | 3–4 Years Experience Salary : 4 to 5 LPA Location : Chennai We are looking for an experienced L2 Network Support Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in networking, security, and infrastructure support. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SD-WAN, firewalls, routing/switching, AD servers, and endpoint security solutions. Responsibilities: - Provide Level 2 support for enterprise network infrastructure - Manage and troubleshoot Firewalls, Switches, Routers, and Wireless Access Points - Configure and support SD-WAN environments and WAN optimization - Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VLAN, routing, and switching issues - Implement and manage SSL VPN, IPsec VPN, and tunnelling policies - Configure and maintain network security policies and access rules - Support Active Directory (AD) Server – user management, GPOs, and basic troubleshooting - Manage and troubleshoot antivirus solutions including Kaspersky and Sophos - Handle escalations from L1 teams and ensure SLA adherence - Perform RCA, documentation, and preventive action planning - Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and internal stakeholders Job Description - Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field - 3–4 years of experience in L2 Network / Infrastructure Support - Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies - Strong knowledge of Firewall platforms (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Sophos, etc.) - Solid experience with Routing & Switching (Cisco/HP/Aruba) - Working knowledge of Active Directory & basic Windows Server administration - Experience managing endpoint security / antivirus tools (Kaspersky, Sophos) - Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing tools - Good understanding of ITIL processes Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, NAT - Exposure to cloud networking (AWS/Azure) - Security or networking certifications (CCNA/CCNP/NSE/PCNSE) - Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
