Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a 3D BIM Consultant at GKC Consultants. The consultant will be responsible for implementing BIM-based project controls, optimizing schedules and conducting BIM modeling.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D architectural models from LOD 200 to LOD 500
- Well versed with 3D BIM Tools like Autodesk REVIT, ArchiCAD, BlueBeam, Sketchup etc...
- Create, edit, and manage Revit Families for Architectural, Structural, and MEP systems with parameters.
- Conduct clash detection, resolution, and reporting to ensure coordinated models.
- Work with BIM annotations, levels, and documentation for project accuracy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project coordination and compliance with BIM standards.
- Assist in reviewing and interpreting architectural and structural drawings for model creation.
- Maintain high standards of quality control, accuracy, and project documentation.
- Use tools such as Navisworks and ACC for model review, coordination, and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Architecture skills
- Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) knowledge
- Experience with Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD and other 3D BIM Software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or related field
- Understanding of Project Management tools and 4D BIM will be an advantage
