Company Description Why work for Accor We are far more than a worldwide leader We welcome you as you are and you can find a job and brand that matches your personality We support you to grow and learn every day making sure that work brings purpose to your life so that during your journey with us you can continue to explore Accor s limitless possibilities By joining Accor every chapter of your story is yours to write and together we can imagine tomorrow s hospitality Discover the life that awaits you at Accor visit https careers accor com Do what you love care for the world dare to challenge the status quo BELIMITLESS We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Chief Engineer to join our team As the Chief Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our property including all equipment maintenance services and protection of our assets This role requires a collaborative and innovative leader who can ensure the structural integrity of our facilities while maintaining grounds and external amenities Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies for all building systems and equipment Supervise and manage daily activities of the department Conduct daily briefings and ensure that all pertinent information is well received by team members Lead and mentor the maintenance staff fostering a culture of efficiency and innovation Oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance Manage capital improvement projects including budgeting planning and execution Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and improve overall guest experience Analyze energy consumption patterns and implement cost-effective sustainable solutions Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance activities budget performance and key metrics to senior management Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical Electrical or Civil Engineering Minimum 6 years of Engineering experience with 1 years at a management level Excellent reading writing and verbal proficiency in English language Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC electrical plumbing and structural components Good working knowledge of MS Excel Word PowerPoint Additional Information Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent communication and customer contact skills Results and service oriented with an eye for details Ability to multi-task work well in stressful high-pressure situations A team player builder A motivator self-starter Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
