Role Overview - Position: Physics Professional Independent Contractor, Remote - Commitment: Part-time, 20 hours/week (potential to extend to 40 hours/week) - Duration: 12 months - Join an exciting collaboration with a top AI research lab. Contribute to developing AI systems replicating real-world workflows in physics. Responsibilities - Create and assess complex problems in physics across subdomains like classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, statistical physics, and relativity. - Evaluate AI-generated responses for conceptual accuracy, mathematical rigor, and domain relevance. - Provide clear written feedback on physics problem sets and solutions. - Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to iterate and improve model performance. - Ensure scientific accuracy and academic precision in all physics content used to train or evaluate AI systems.
