Job Description - We are looking for a Senior AEM Author with over 5 years of experience who is proficient in AEM authoring, taxonomy, SEO concepts and Digital Asset Management (DAM).Key Responsibilities:1. Organize and maintain taxonomy and DAM for efficient asset management.2. Ensure SEO best practices are implemented in content structure and metadata.3. Perform QA on web pages, ensuring content is accurate, error-free, and aligned with business requirements.4. Create and maintain testing checklists for QA purposes and ensure consistent quality of web pages.5. Work closely with development, design, and marketing teams to execute content changes.6. Utilize AEM components, templates, and workflows to support content management processes.7. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather content requirements and prioritize projects.8. Organize and maintain taxonomy and DAM for efficient asset management.Content creation and editing - Responsible for creating and editing content using the AEM Content Management System. Proficient in using AEM authoring interfaces to create web pages and articles using images, videos, and other digital assets from the library.Component utilization - Good understanding of AEM & component-based approach to content creation. Able to use pre-built AEM components effectively to design and structure web pages, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines, along with using organization specific components.Content governance - Understand basic principles of content governance, including version control and content archiving.Content maintenance - Ensure that existing content is up-to-date and accurate. Review and edit content as needed, correcting errors, updating information, and removing obsolete content. This may largely be dependent on the organization setup.Metadata management - Responsible for managing metadata associated with content. Ensure that metadata is accurately applied to content items, which aids in search and categorization.Quality assurance - Perform quality assurance checks on existing content to ensure that it meets the organization & standards for accuracy, consistency, and presentation. Identify and rectify broken links or other issues.Content localization - Manage the localization of content. This includes coordinating the translation of content and ensuring that localized versions are published correctly.Multilingual content management - Capable of managing multilingual content within AEM, including translation workflows, language-specific content variations, and localization.
