Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer Location: Hyderabad Experience: 5+ Years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead testing and quality initiatives across our engineering and development teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing quality standards, managing automated and manual testing processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all stages of the software development process to ensure adherence to quality standards. Design, plan, and execute test cases before product launches to ensure requirements are met. Identify and resolve defects through systematic testing and debugging. Collaborate with development, systems, and infrastructure teams to integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines. Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and protocols. Analyze and document test results; recommend corrective actions and improvements. Design automation test cases in BDD format based on user stories. Implement and promote test-driven development (TDD) practices. Stay updated with emerging QA technologies and methodologies. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in QA engineering or related roles. 3+ years of experience designing and executing manual and automated tests. Strong hands-on experience with full software development lifecycle for complex systems. Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Golang, C/C++ . Experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows environments. Desired Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in test automation and setting up automation frameworks. Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, TestComplete, ReadyAPI, EggPlant, Perfecto , etc. Experience with GitHub, JIRA, Xray , and working in a DevSecOps environment. Background in financial services or handling sensitive financial data. Knowledge or certifications in cyber security is a plus. Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field . Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement. Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a culture of quality.
