Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution & Supervision:

- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, including structural work, finishing, and interior fit-outs.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved architectural, structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), and interior design drawings.
- Supervise excavation, foundation, structural work, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, and finishing works.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and MEP consultants for seamless integration of interiors with structural elements.
- Monitor installation of interior elements such as false ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, modular furniture, lighting, and decorative features.
- Ensure proper execution of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fire-fighting systems as per interior design requirements.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance:

- Conduct routine inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to construction and interior design standards.
- Implement quality control measures at each stage of construction and interior finishing.
- Ensure all materials used (including tiles, woodwork, paints, and lighting fixtures) meet approved specifications.
- Maintain records of quality checks, test results, and approvals from consultants.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

3. Site Coordination & Communication:

- Act as a bridge between civil, MEP, and interior teams to avoid delays and design conflicts.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for timely material procurement and installation.
- Conduct regular site meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress, issues, and solutions.
- Address and resolve on-site disputes related to civil, MEP, and interior work.
- Ensure proper sequence of work to prevent rework and maintain efficiency.

4. Safety & Risk Management:

- Implement and enforce site safety protocols for both structural and interior works.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings with workers and subcontractors.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Identify potential hazards in both construction and interior work and take corrective actions.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control:

- Monitor project costs, including structural and interior work, ensuring work is completed within budget.
- Assist in material estimation and procurement to prevent wastage and cost overruns.
- Maintain records of material consumption, interior finishes, and furniture installation.
- Identify cost-saving measures in both civil and interior works without compromising quality.

6. Documentation & Reporting:

- Maintain proper documentation of site records, including daily logs, labor attendance, and work progress.
- Keep track of design changes, work variations, and client approvals.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
- Document all inspection reports, permits, and compliance certificates.

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor&aposs degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Interior Design.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in site supervision for bungalow, low-rise residential projects, and interior works.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of civil construction techniques, materials, and project management.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and interior design drawings.
- Familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and project management tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and local building codes.
- Soft Skills:
