Your Role As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications using modern Java technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend services and integrate with front-end components and databases. In this role, you will: - Design and develop scalable backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot 2.7.x - Build and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications - Work with MongoDB 6 for data modeling, aggregation, and performance optimization - Collaborate with front-end developers working on React to ensure seamless integration - Utilize JIRA for agile project tracking and Bitbucket for version control and code collaboration - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipeline implementation - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on performance and scalability - Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation Your Profile - 6–9 years of experience in Java backend development - Strong proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot 2.7.x, and REST API development - Hands-on experience with MongoDB 6 or similar NoSQL databases - Familiarity with React and front-end integration - Proficient in using JIRA, Bitbucket, and Git-based workflows - Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native development - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code What You’ll Love About Working Here - Flexible work options and a culture that supports work-life balance - A diverse and inclusive team environment that values innovation - Access to continuous learning and upskilling in modern technologies - Opportunities to work on impactful projects with global clients At Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to help the world’s most innovative companies unleash their potential.
