Software Engineer

Job Description Position Description: We are looking for an AEM Forms Developer with 35 years of hands-on experience with software engineering practices. This person will design, build, and maintain AEN Forms, PDF/XDP templates and related AEM components, and help integrate forms with backend systems. The developer will build the scalable and fully available technical solutions in Digital space with team of software engineers based out of India and will be responsible to support NA markets. He/she will collaborate directly and continuously with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Architects, Engineering Manager and Product Owners of Smart Secured Document Team. As a AEM Forms Developer, you will join a team that supports to develop enterprise scale applications/building SaaS products in the Document Generation Domain with Ford Credit IT. Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, XML/XSD, and JSON and CSS. Core AEM stack: Sling, JCR, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), Dispatcher and replication concepts. Build and maintain custom AEM components, Sightly/HTL templates, OSGi services, Sling models, JCR, Dispatcher and workflows required by forms and document services. Strong hands-on experience with AEM Forms: Adaptive Forms, PDF Forms, XDP/XML templates, Interactive Communication Forms and Document Services. Knowledge of AEM Forms-specific runtime features: Data binding, rule builder, prefill services, XDP processors, and form submission flows. Integrate AEM Forms with backend systems (REST/JSON, SOAP), authentication services (OAuth/SAML), and data stores. Knowledge of AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) -Cloud Manager, cloud-compatible patterns, and constraints of AEMaaCS is a plus. Knowledge of security best practices using Junit, SonarQube, Familiarity with source control (Git), and CI/CD (Jenkins, Cloud Manager or GitHub Actions). Debugging and monitoring: ability to interpret AEM error logs, use of tools like Splunk, Dynatrace is a plus. Understanding of core GCP services,IAM,familiarity with Pub/Sub for event-driven integrations, Deployment Pipeline Monitoring & logging basics. Engage in Agile practices including but not limited to Stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos and journey mapping. Experience Preferred: B.E. / B.Tech 35 years hands-on AEM/AEM Forms experience; demonstrable work on AEMaaCS projects 3+ years of experience with technical expertise in Adobe Experience Manager, AEM Core components (Example: Sling, OSGI, JCR, Dispatcher, Felix console, CRXde Lite),AEM Adaptive Forms and Interactive Communication, workflows, Query debugger Tool, Skills in developing Form Data Models and Form Fragments, Experience in developing AEM Designer Forms-XDPs Ability to Productize a document generation product as a SaaS (Software as a Service) 3+ years of experience in Java, 3+ years of work experience in Microservice architecture and SOAP or REST APIs 2+ years of experience in Cloud (GCP/AWS/PCF/Azure) experience using Cloud SDK's. Architect microservices in GCP cloud (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub etc.), Leverage GCP expertise to build resilient applications. Strong sense of code with ability to review code using SonarQube, Checkmarx, rework and deliver Quality code.
