Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

- Extensive experience on using Mendix Developer Studio Pro for designing and developing Web-based and Native Mobile applications.
- Strong expertise in Mendix low-code platform, microservices, and modular app development.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, and REST/SOAP API integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Mendix Advanced or Expert Certification
- Experience with web development technologies (HTML, css, java script)
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases and writing SQL queries/ stored procedures.
- Designing interface contracts with upstream/downstream systems.
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills

Customer facing experience – Good communication skills

Good-to-Have

- Hands-on application design and development experience (.Net, Python, Java or any other application programming language)
- Experience with design and build of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for one or more industry (Pharma, Auto, HiTech, Consumer) domain
- Experience with Web services (SOAP , REST API), Understanding of (XML, JSON)

Experience with setting up barcode scanners (2D/3D), Zebra printers (Zebra Programming Language)

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Architect & Design: Design scalable, secure, and high-performance Mendix applications.

Establish best practices for Mendix application development, integration, and deployment.

Define and enforce architecture principles, patterns, and governance for Mendix-based solutions.

Develop technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture strategies.

2 Development & Implementation:

Provide hands-on technical leadership to Mendix developers, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Optimize application performance, security, and usability.

Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing.

Reviewing solution, performance monitoring.

3 Integration & Cloud Strategy:

Integrate Mendix applications with enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce, REST APIs, databases).

Ensure seamless deployment on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or on-premise environments.

Implement security standards, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
