We are seeking a versatile and experienced professional to take on a hybrid role of a Business Analyst/Project Manager. You will be instrumental in the development and launch of a new, strategic product that integrates with our foundational data processing system and approval workflow modules. This role requires a unique blend of traditional business analysis, project management discipline, and a deep understanding of the travel technology landscape. You will be the vital link between the business vision, technical development teams, and successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis: - Lead requirements gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders to define the scope and vision for the new product. - Create detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, and functional specifications. - Analyze and model business processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency. - Help the development team nuances of understanding of travel booking segments (Air, Hotel, Car, Rail), including NDC, LCC, and passive bookings, and how they are processed through a Global Distribution System (GDS). - Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for the development team. - Serve as the product expert and point of contact for all functional queries. Project Management: - Develop and manage the end-to-end project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. - Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all teams (Development, QA, Product, and Stakeholders). - Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and dependencies. - Manage the project backlog, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of sprints and releases. - Report on project status, progress, and key metrics to senior management. - Ensure the final product meets the business objectives and quality standards. Required Skills and Experience - 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/ Project Manager within the travel technology sector. - In-depth knowledge of GDS platforms (e.G., Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo/Travelport), modern distribution channels like NDC, and their respective APIs and data structures (PNR, profiles, etc.). - Proven experience with various travel booking segments (Air, Hotel, Car, Rail), including content from Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs) and the handling of passive segments for reporting and itinerary management. - Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, including API integrations, data flows, and system architecture. - Demonstrated experience in managing software development projects from conception to launch. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. - Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. - Proficiency in project management tools (e.G., Jira, Atlassian) and documentation software. Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Familiarity with corporate travel booking tools (OBTs) and TMC operations. - Previous experience launching a new product or module in a technology company
