Overview: We are looking for a DevOps Engineers to build and maintain a highly reliable secure development and hosting cloud infrastructure that will support the company’s suite of 24/7 web applications. You will develop automated solutions using technologies including AWS, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes and Terraform to automatically build, test, integrate, and deploy complex, modern micro service-based applications to multiple environments. Omnicom Global Solutions India plays a key role for our group companies and global agencies by providing stellar products and services in the areas of Creative Services, Technology, Marketing Science, Media Services, Market Research and Business Support Services Let us build this, together Work Location - Bangalore (3 days work from office) Work Timings - 2PM - 11PM Responsibilities: - Create, Configure and maintain resources on AWS - Work within Scrum teams to enable the delivery of new product features, acting as a DevOps/Cloud SME - Maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes (EKS + helm) and Jenkins - Maintain access rules – NACLs, Security Groups & Network Policies - Build and maintain new environments as needed to support development, testing and release management requirements - Implement monitoring and alerting where needed to proactively prevent issues and improve uptime - Ensure infrastructure adheres to the company's security requirements - Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support of hosting infrastructure - Use ticket management system such as Jira to manage work priorities - Be highly responsive when on call to issues being reported from the field - Articulate and communicate complex technical ideas to non-DevOps colleagues Qualifications: - Demonstrate 5+ years relevant DevOps experience - Strong understanding of hosting and resource management (CPU, memory, storage, security, networking, I/O etc.) - Strong proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes and Jenkins - Hands-on real world experience with configuring and maintaining resources on AWS - Hands on real world experience with git version control and the creation of CI/CD pipelines - Hands on real world experience with SonarQube, Jenkins, ArgoCD and Kubernetes (EKS) - experience with Linux and administration - Knowledge of cloud networking fundamentals - Experience with and a strong understanding of security best practices - Strong familiarity with the building and administration of Java/Spring Boot and PostgreSQL database stack - Experience with Atlassian tooling including Jira and Confluence - Strong written and verbal communication skills - A degree in Computer Science, or a related subject is beneficial - AWS Certifications are beneficial
