Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Automation Engineer with expertise in Python automation and Linux. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions by developing and executing automated test scripts. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, leveraging automation tools and techniques to enhance software testing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python to validate software functionality and performance.
- Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and debug failures to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and improve testing processes.
- Perform root cause analysis for failed test cases and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Maintain and optimize Linux-based test environments, ensuring seamless integration with automation frameworks.
- Document and report defects, test results, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest tools and trends in automation and Linux systems.

Required Skills

- 37 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Automation Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python for test automation.
- Proficient in working with Linux environments, including shell scripting and command-line utilities.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, PyTest, or Robot Framework.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
