The role focuses on developing innovative molecules for health and wellness solutions, supporting ongoing research projects, and contributing to product innovation and quality improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Design, synthesize, and optimize chemical compounds with potential therapeutic or bioactive properties. - Conduct laboratory experiments involving organic synthesis, purification, and compound characterization (NMR, IR, HPLC, MS). - Collaborate with microbiologists, pharmacologists, and formulation scientists to test and evaluate compounds. - Support the development of new formulations, nutraceuticals, and biotech-based healthcare products. - Maintain detailed experimental records and prepare technical reports. - Ensure laboratory safety and compliance with internal and external regulatory standards. - Review current research literature to identify new trends and technologies relevant to medicinal chemistry and biotechnology. - Participate in product development meetings and contribute to innovation initiatives at Vastu Vihar Biotech. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: M.Sc. / M.Pharm / Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or related discipline. - Experience: 15 years of experience in medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical R&D, or related biotech research. - Strong knowledge of organic synthesis, reaction mechanisms, and compound characterization techniques. - Familiarity with biochemistry and pharmacological testing methods preferred. - Good documentation, analytical thinking, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team.
