Job Summary:The L2 Cloud Engineer is responsible for the intermediate management and support of cloud infrastructure and services. This role involves working on cloud-based systems, ensuring their availability, performance, and security. The engineer will collaborate with L1 support and L3 specialists to maintain a robust cloud environment and resolve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Cloud Deployment & Configuration:

נAssist in the deployment and configuration of cloud services and solutions.

נManage and maintain cloud environments across various platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

2.Monitoring & Maintenance:

נMonitor cloud infrastructure to ensure system health and performance.

נConduct regular maintenance tasks, including patch management and updates.

נImplement and manage cloud monitoring tools.

3.Incident Management:

נProvide L2 support for cloud-related incidents and service requests.

נTroubleshoot and resolve intermediate-level cloud infrastructure issues.

נEscalate complex issues to L3 specialists when necessary.

4.Security & Compliance:

נImplement security measures and policies to protect cloud environments.

נEnsure compliance with organizational and industry standards.

נAssist in conducting security audits and assessments.

5.Automation & Scripting:

נDevelop and maintain automation scripts for routine cloud tasks.

נUtilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate cloud deployments.

6.Documentation & Reporting:

נMaintain accurate documentation of cloud environments, configurations, and processes.

נGenerate regular reports on cloud performance, incidents, and metrics.

7.Continuous Improvement:

נStay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.

נParticipate in training and development programs.

נSuggest improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of cloud services.

8.Collaboration:

נWork closely with L1 support, developers, and other IT teams to address cloud-related needs.

נCollaborate with L3 specialists on complex issues and projects.

נParticipate in cross-functional teams for cloud initiatives and projects.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

Experience:

נMinimum of 3 years of experience in cloud computing, with at least 1 year in an intermediate (L2) role.

נExperience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Skills:

נGood understanding of cloud architecture and services.

נProficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, etc.).

נFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

נKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

נStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.

נGood communication and teamwork abilities.

Certifications:

Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Google Associate Cloud Engineer) are highly desirable.

Additional Information:

נThis position may require on-call support and the ability to work outside regular business hours.

נTravel may be required based on project needs.
