Job Title: VMware Administrator
Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune
Experience Required: 8+ Years
Employment Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and manage VMware environments including vCenter, vSAN, NSX-V/T, SRM, vRA, vRO, vROPS.
- Manage and maintain Vblock and VxRail converged and hyper-converged infrastructure solutions.
- Implement and support HCI environments ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Automate and orchestrate infrastructure operations using vRealize Automation (vRA) and vRealize Orchestrator (vRO).
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance using vROPS and proactive capacity planning.
- Plan, configure, and test disaster recovery solutions with SRM.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams for incident resolution, system upgrades, and patches.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards, best practices, and audit requirements.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for virtualization, storage, and networking issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Vblock, VxRail (Converged/Hyper-Converged Infrastructure)
- vRA, vRO, vROPS (Automation & Operations)
- vCenter, vSAN, SRM
- NSX-V/T (Network Virtualization)
- HCI Solutions
- Proven expertise in managing enterprise VMware infrastructure.
- Experience in capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of data center best practices, ITIL processes, and cloud integrations.
