designing developing implementing and maintaining data integration solutions using Microsoft Azure s ADF Azure Data Factory and ADB Azure Databricks services This role requires expertise in ETL Extract Transform Load processes data engineering and cloud technologies to support the organization s data management and analytics initiatives Key Responsibilities 1 Solution Development Collaborate with data architects analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and design efficient data integration solutions Develop and implement ETL processes data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks Write and optimize code in languages such as Python SQL and Scala to ensure the efficient processing of large volumes of data 2 ADF ADB Implementation Configure and deploy Azure Data Factory pipelines datasets and linked services to support data movement and transformation activities Work with Azure Databricks to design and implement scalable data processing and analytics solutions Implement data orchestration and scheduling to ensure timely and reliable execution of data workflows 3 Data Quality and Testing Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate data quality accuracy and completeness Identify and troubleshoot issues related to data processing ensuring the integrity of data throughout the ETL process Implement data validation and error-handling mechanisms to enhance data reliability 4 Performance Optimization Identify and address performance bottlenecks in data pipelines and queries Optimize data processing tasks to improve efficiency reduce latency and enhance overall system performance 5 Collaboration Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists data analysts and business users to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment CI CD related to data processing ensuring minimal disruption to business operations Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks Proficiency in programming languages such as Python SQL and or Scala Understanding of ETL processes data modeling and data warehousing concepts Familiarity with cloud technologies and services particularly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate or similar certifications Experience with big data technologies e g Hadoop Spark Familiarity with data governance security and compliance best practices Knowledge of agile methodologies and version control systems e g Git Previous experience in data-related projects within industries such as finance healthcare or
