Job Title: Logistics Head

Location: Head Office, Hyderabad

Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
- Identify; liaise and negotiate with transporters / brokers / 3PL's / vendors / rental agreements / labor & hamali / etc.
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
- Vendor/transporter rating & new vendor/transporter onboarding
- Maintaining logistics cost benchmarks by improving on vehicle load ability / primary & secondary freight optimization / return freight management / contracts negotiation / etc.
- Track & Maintain Service Level metrics for maximum customer delight.
- Maintain proper documentation; comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reporting & MIS

Requirements

- A total experience of 10+ years.
- Proven working experience as a logistics manager.
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
- Proficient in standard logistics software.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
- BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Good Knowledge in MS Office.
- Good Knowledge in SAP (SD & MM).
