Career Category Information SystemsRole Description Amgen is seeking an IT Information Technology Audit Manager at the Amgen Technology and Innovation Centre At Amgen our mission is simple to serve patients The IT Audit ManagerWhat you will doLets do this Lets change the world In this vital role you will assist the Chief Audit Executive Directors Senior Managers and Staff of Amgen Corporate Audit in providing independent objective assurance and consulting services The IT Audit Manager will also help determine whether the Company s systems of risk management control and governance processes are adequate and functioning in a manner appropriate to a company of Amgens size and market This position is part of the IT Audit team consisting of several information system auditors who perform system and IT process audits on their own as well as support business process auditors Roles Responsibilities Effectively plans coordinates and conducts periodic information systems audits of operational and financial areas in accordance with approved annual audit plansInteracts with Amgen mid-level managementDemonstrates a high level of professionalism and handle multiple projects Successfully handles and cultivates key relationships to ensure that Corporate Audit s scope of work and the objectives of the organization are completed in a cost-effective and timely mannerExercises excellent judgment and initiative in handling business issues of significance to Corporate Audit and the CompanyDrafts work papers documenting work performed and written communications of audit and consulting engagement resultsProvides project management responsibility for owning the direction and accomplishments of overall goals and objectives of auditsProvides appropriate leadership and mentoring to Corporate Audit staff to achieve audit goals and objectivesDischarges responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with The Institute of Internal Auditors Code of Ethics International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and Statement of ResponsibilitiesTravel up to 10 per yearWhat we expect of youWe are all different yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients Basic Qualifications and Experience Master s degree ORBachelor s degree and 5 years of Information Systems Audit experience ORAssociate degree and 8 years of Information Systems Audit experience ORMinimum of 10 years of Information Systems Audit experience supporting a multinational organizationMust-Have Skills Experience performing various IS audit projects such as general controls application controls data analysis vulnerability assessments penetration studies intrusion detection and SSAE16 18s formerly SAS 70s Solid understanding of enterprise applications such as ERP SAP systems COSO framework and good audit experience of auditing ITIL COBIT and other technical IS processes areaKnowledge and understanding of internal control frameworkGood-to-Have Skills External audit e g Big Four and or internal audit e g Fortune 500 experienceProficiency in GxP Guidelines and regulatory requirements for the conduct of clinical trials and manufacturing of pharmaceutical productsExperience with data analytics and data mining skills including use of current analytical BI tools for data analysis Tableau Spotfire AMS Professional CertificationsCertified Information Systems Auditor CISA preferred Certified Internal Auditor CIA preferred Soft Skills Self-starter with excellent project management and communication both verbal and written skills including the ability to communicate effectively with Amgen senior managementExcellent and insightful financial analytical interpersonal team-building leadership and conflict resolution skillsExcellent discernment e g knowledge of business drivers finding solutions and knowledge of accounting finance and other business areas What you can expect of usAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being From our competitive benefits to our collaborative culture well support your journey every step of the way In addition to the base salary Amgen offers competitive and comprehensive Total Rewards Plans that are aligned with local industry standards Apply nowfor a career that defies creativityObjects in your future are closer than they appear Join us careers amgen com
