and we re looking for talented people who want to help You ll join a diverse team of software hardware and network engineers supply chain specialists security experts operations managers and other vital roles You ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers And you ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion The Amazon Data Services India Pvt Ltd ADSIPL Data Center Security Group is seeking a highly talented and motivated Security Systems Project Manager to join our team The team is responsible for the design installation and integration of security systems equipment including but not limited to Access Control Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems You will also be responsible for the continuous review of existing standards and to stay abreast of developments in new technology that will enhance the physical security of ADSIPL data centers and co-locations You will work directly with the Cluster Security Manager the Infrastructure Operations and Construction teams and other customers both internal and external to integrate the business requirements into physical security systems design and implementation Your work will include supporting the construction and deployment of physical security packages for all ADSIPL data centers and co-locations in the cluster You will also work closely with contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with all security standards during the construction testing and acceptance phases of the projects The ideal candidate for the role will have demonstrated the ability to work in all disciplines at all levels from technology research to system design and layout oversight of construction and implementation as well as maintenance and upgrades over the life of the system You will have an in-depth knowledge of security technology be innovative highly organized and will have demonstrated the ability to deliver results on time and within budget Key job responsibilities Strategic Project Leadership Spearhead physical security design and system installation for new data centers expansions and special projects Financial Management Direct multi-million-dollar security project lifecycles including bid packages specifications drawings code compliance vendor management budgeting change orders and documentation Technology Innovation Apply knowledge of emerging physical security technologies to enhance the AWS physical security program Strategic Advisory Provide Subject Matter Expert SME guidance to leadership for technology and procedural decisions Operational Excellence Prioritize tasks effectively and operate seamlessly across organizational boundaries Maintenance Oversight Execute and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs for security system equipment Compliance Assurance Ensure adherence to physical security standards project scopes budgets and timelines Solution Development Design and implement solutions for system installations upgrades repairs and change management Quality Control Support security system commissioning testing acceptance and project handoff Knowledge Transfer Develop and deploy comprehensive training programs for all physical security system users A day in the life Mission Deliver pioneering physical security by working vigorously to earn and keep customer trust providing a safe and secure environment for our people assets and customer data Vision Develop exceptional security professionals consistently apply security processes and pioneer new technologies that effectively balance security requirements with operational needs About the team About AWS Amazon Web Services AWS is the world s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform We pioneered cloud computing and never stopped innovating - Experience with AutoCAD Revit Bluebeam and MS Office Suite - Bachelor s degree in Engineering -Electronics Communication Electronics Electrical Electronics and Instrumentation Computer Science Engineering or equivalent field - 10-12 years experience managing projects operations installation and maintenance of regional global physical security systems - 8-10 years of experience in Project Management for Construction Physical Security or MEP Preferred Qualifications - 3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 3 years of leading large complex programs experience - Experience in data center design construction operations or facility maintenance -
