SchoolCues is a fast-growing SaaS-based EdTech company in the education vertical based in Phoenix, AZ. We are seeking a talented Front-End UI/UX Developer with 4-6 years experience to join our team. In this role, you will transform design concepts into intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing web interfaces. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver user-centered solutions that enhance our users’ experience.

Required Skills/ Technology Experience

- Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performance front-end web applications.
- Translate wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs into functional user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks like jQuery.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to refine user interactions and ensure design feasibility.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to inform design and development improvements.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Implement and maintain front-end standards, best practices, and reusable code libraries.
- Work with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, design trends, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field — or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience developing responsive web interfaces.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (jQuery, React, Vue.js, Angular).
- Solid understanding of UX principles and UI design patterns.
- Experience with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
