Job Description

This role involves the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in defining, configuring and deploying industrial digital technologies (including but not limited to PLM and MES) for managing continuity of information across the engineering enterprise, including design, industrialization, manufacturing and supply chain, and for managing the manufacturing data.

Role Summary

As a PLC/Edge Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining industrial automation solutions using modern programming languages and protocols. This role supports real-time data integration and system reliability across EGA’s downstream operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain PLC and Edge applications using C, C++, and Python.
- Implement MQTT protocols for real-time data communication.
- Design and optimize database solutions for industrial systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver automation solutions.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and proper documentation.

Candidate Profile

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in PLC/Edge development using C, C++, Python, and MQTT.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation and database development.
