Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Node.js. - Build and optimize RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services. - Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end features. - Write clean, efficient, and testable code while ensuring high performance and responsiveness. - Implement microservices architecture and ensure smooth integration with other systems. - Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues. - Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to design schemas and ensure efficient queries. - Follow best practices in CI/CD, testing, code reviews, and deployment. - Stay updated with new technologies and propose their adoption when beneficial. Requirements - 3–6 years of software development experience in Node.js. - Good knowledge of async programming, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture. - Hands-on with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB/Redis/DynamoDB). - Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design. - Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD practices. - Problem-solving mindset, team collaboration, and agile working experience.
