Job Description and Responsibilities: We are looking forward to onboarding an experienced lawyer, with innate talent and ambition to succeed in dispute resolution & litigation. As a Senior Associate, you will be expected to take a proactive and hands on approach. The primary responsibilities will include: - We do not believe in court-specific team and therefore candidates should be willing to be part of all firm matters before Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, District Courts, NCLTs / NCLAT, NGT, Consumer Forums, Customs & other Tribunals, along-with other team members - Drafting and review of legal pleadings, miscellaneous applications, writs, complaints, and other legal documents in diversified subject-matters for various courts & tribunals. - Independently representing firm's clients before various Courts and Tribunals as well as along with senior members of the firm. - Preparation of case notes/written arguments for the purposes of case management and briefings; - Briefing of senior counsels engaged to appear in particular matters; - Legal research in relation to assigned cases and areas of firm interest; - Assist in the research and drafting of articles/analysis etc. to be published by the firm on legal publications, with due accreditation; Qualifications - Minimum 4-5 years of experience in active litigation. - Candidates with a strong domain knowledge of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) will be preferred. - Must be proficient and have a functional command over language English and Hindi. The same must translate into drafting assignments as well; - Must keep themselves updated with the latest legal developments and astute knowledge of procedural aspects of law; - Must possess the ability to come up with solutions to legal problems; - Must possess the ability to work under pressure and meet urgent deadline - Sarvottam Law Offices is an equal opportunity employer.
