Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web development, with a focus on WordPress, and be capable of creating visually appealing and functional websites. The WordPress Developer will work closely with our design and marketing teams to implement and maintain WordPress-based websites.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites
- Customize WordPress themes and templates to meet project requirements
- Ensure website responsiveness and optimal performance
- Integrate and configure WordPress plugins as needed
- Develop custom WordPress plugins to enhance website functionality
- Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements
- Ensure content is SEO-friendly and optimized for search engines
- Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities and threats
- Optimize website performance, including speed and load times
- Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs
- Perform regular website backups and updates
- Work closely with designers, content creators, and other team members to ensure seamless website development and functionality
- Provide technical support and guidance to non-technical team members

Qualifications and Skills

- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a portfolio of WordPress projects
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Knowledge of web development best practices, including SEO and web accessibility
- Familiarity with responsive web design principles
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in web development and WordPress
