Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing). - Manage test cases, requirements, test execution, and defect tracking using HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management). - Create and maintain reusable test components and libraries. - Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing. - Analyze test results and log detailed defects in HP ALM with steps to reproduce. - Work with development teams to reproduce and resolve defects. - Participate in test planning, test data creation, and review meetings. - Maintain test documentation and support test reporting and metrics. - Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools. Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using UFT/QTP. - Strong working knowledge of HP ALM for test management and defect tracking. - Proficiency in VBScript (used in UFT scripting). - Experience with testing web and desktop applications. - Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC. - Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall environments. Desirable Skills: - Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, LoadRunner). - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation frameworks. - Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation. - ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
