Title: Manager Content and Training

Location: Delhi, India
Breakthrough is looking for a Manager for its Strategic Partnership & Scale-up team. The person will be responsible for creating, testing, and disseminating curriculum including digitised curriculum on behalf of the Strategic Partnership & Scale-up team with partner organisations, networks, and collaborators etc.
The specific job responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Content creation for scale-up projects using instructional design
- Creating, and testing content including for digital products and tools e.g. interactive games, webinars, online training modules
- Creating, and testing online content as required
- Create, copy-edit, and proof-read content for the team
- Conduct pilot-testing of content as required
- Coordinate the creation and collate videos, and graphics for content (offline and digital)
- Training workshops for scale-up projects including for partners
- Conduct trainings for the scale-up team and external stakeholders
- Create training calendar for the scale-up centre
- Create training monitoring tools
- Monitor quality of trainings, and provide inputs to relevant team members
- Work with team members to analyse and disseminate pre and post-training data
- Dissemination
- Provide regular progress updates to the supervisor and team members regarding the project
- Analyse, write reports, and communicate of the usage of different content created including online content, and process documentation
- Disseminate publications, information, training data, and process documentation on regular basis internally and externally as needed
- Project and budget management
- Create quarterly plans, update and implement them, and manage budgets for own projects in alignment with centres strategies and goals
- Liaising with other team members to ensure effective and efficient implementation of content and training plans and budgets in alignment with timelines
- Work with relevant team members to contribute to programme and project reviews on a regular basis
- Work with relevant team members for donor reports regarding content and training related work
Skills, Competencies & Experience Required:
- Instructional design, and facilitation skills
- Should have papers, articles publications and/ or curriculum developed in their name, or co-authored
- 7-9 years of relevant experience in the field
- Good understanding of gender, rights and sexuality issues
- Able to develop publications, and facilitate sessions in Hindi and English
- Strong partnership management including government stakeholders

About Breakthrough:
Breakthrough was founded in 1999 with the mission of using arts and culture to transform the gender norms that perpetuate violence and discrimination against women and girls. We did this by bringing these issues, thus far perceived as private, into mainstream conversations and inspiring people to take action for change. The usage of multimedia, art, and culture helped us connect with large audiences to enable behaviour change in them.
Breakthrough makes gender-based violence unacceptable by transforming the culture that permits violence, particularly violence and discrimination against women and girls. We work with nearly 1.5 million adolescents in schools and communities to mould gender norms and beliefs before they solidify into behaviour.
As we build their capacity by fostering aspiration, leadership, agency and negotiation skills, we enable a generational shift towards a gender-equal culture. When gender norms change, everything for the girl changes. Our work in communities are contributing to the steady rise in the age of marriage and the number of girls who stay in school.
Our mission is led by young people aged 11 to 25. As they rise against gender-based violence, we also support them with media tools that shape public narratives and inspire people to build a world of equality, dignity and justice.
