Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for an Assistant Professor. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, leading classroom discussions, conducting laboratory sessions, and mentoring students. Additional responsibilities include developing course materials, participating in research and scholarly activities, contributing to academic program strategy, and engaging in institutional development efforts. Qualifications - Strong subject expertise in the relevant engineering discipline with a Master's or Ph.D. degree in a related field. - Proven skills in teaching, curriculum development, and conducting classroom and lab-based instruction effectively. - Experience in academic research and a track record of publications, along with the ability to guide students in research projects. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to engage and mentor students effectively. - Proficiency in using educational technologies and tools for delivering lectures and presentations. - Experience with accreditation and curriculum quality improvement processes is a plus.
