We are seeking a motivated Backend PHP Developer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in backend development, specifically using PHP. This role involves building and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain server-side applications using PHP.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Manage database design and optimization to ensure data integrity and performance.

Skills and Qualifications

- Proficiency in PHP and experience with PHP frameworks CodeIgniter.
- Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
