Position Summary As a Pediatrician and Early Intervention Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the early detection assessment and intervention of developmental behavioral and medical needs in children from birth to 8 years The role combines medical expertise with program management to ensure children at risk of or with developmental delays receive timely coordinated and family-centered support Key Responsibilities Clinical Medical Role Conduct developmental screenings growth monitoring and well-child evaluations to identify risks and delays Diagnose and manage pediatric health conditions that may affect child development e g neurological sensory nutritional or chronic illnesses Prescribe therapeutic interventions and referrals to specialists speech occupational therapy physiotherapy psychology audiology etc Guide parents on preventive healthcare immunization schedules nutrition and developmental milestones Maintain medical records and developmental progress documentation in line with regulatory and ethical standards Early Intervention Management Develop and oversee individualized early intervention plans IEPs IFSPs tailored to each child s needs Coordinate multidisciplinary teams therapists special educators social workers psychologists to ensure holistic care Monitor intervention outcomes and adjust strategies to maximize developmental progress Train and mentor intervention staff on child development medical considerations and family engagement Build strong family partnerships providing counseling guidance and empowering parents as primary caregivers in the intervention process Program Administrative Responsibilities Design and implement early intervention protocols in alignment with national international best practices Collaborate with government agencies NGOs schools and healthcare providers to strengthen referral networks Organize parent workshops community awareness drives and developmental screening camps Ensure compliance with medical ethical and legal standards related to pediatric and developmental care Track outcomes maintain data and prepare reports for internal monitoring donors or regulatory authorities Required Qualifications MBBS with MD DNB in Pediatrics or equivalent specialization Additional certification training in Developmental Pediatrics Early Childhood Intervention or Child Neurology preferred Minimum 3-5 years of pediatric clinical practice with exposure to developmental assessments Experience in early intervention program management or working in multidisciplinary pediatric teams Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of child development milestones and pediatric disorders Ability to conduct comprehensive developmental and medical assessments Leadership and team management skills in a multidisciplinary setting Excellent communication and counseling abilities for parents and caregivers Program design monitoring and evaluation experience Empathy patience and a child- and family-centered approach Job Types Full-time Permanent Application Question s What is your current and expected CTC Work Location In person
