ASTROC AS TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED Role and Responsibilities for Job Profile Job ID AGPS-23-001 Agriculture Drone Pilot Position Summary We are seeking experienced and skilled Agriculture Drone Pilots to join our team for a 3-year spraying service project The selected candidates will be responsible for operating agricultural drones to provide efficient and effective crop spraying services in assigned areas within Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states The candidates must be willing to relocate to Hyderabad which will serve as the base location for this project Additionally the candidates should commit to working minimum of 11 months after successful onboarding Responsibilities 1 Drone Operation Operate agricultural drones to perform accurate and precise crop spraying activities according to predefined schedules and protocols 2 Flight Planning Plan and execute flight missions considering weather conditions crop types and specific requirements of the spraying tasks 3 Maintenance and Inspection Conduct regular inspections of drones ensuring that they are in optimal condition for safe operations Perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed and report any significant issues to the relevant authority 4 Safety Compliance Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines both for drone operation and general work procedures Ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and responsible manner 5 Data Management Collect and maintain accurate records of flight data spraying activities and other relevant information Provide timely reports and updates to the project management team as required 6 Calibration and Calibration Record Keeping Calibrate the drone s spraying equipment monitor its performance and maintain detailed records of calibration activities 7 Troubleshooting Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to drone operation or spraying equipment promptly Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex problems efficiently 8 Team Collaboration Coordinate with other team members including agronomists and ground staff to ensure smooth communication and seamless integration of drone operations with other agricultural activities 9 Training and Knowledge Enhancement Stay updated with the latest advancements in drone technology precision agriculture and crop spraying techniques Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge 10 Compliance with Regulations Adhere to all relevant laws regulations and guidelines pertaining to drone operation aerial spraying and agricultural practices 11 Work Documentation Maintain accurate documentation of all work-related activities including spraying logs maintenance records incident reports and any other required documentation 12 Equipment Management Assist in the management of drone equipment inventory including procurement storage and maintenance of spare parts and accessories Qualifications 1 Preferable minimum of 1 years of experience as an agriculture drone pilot or a similar role 2 Valid drone pilot license or certification from a recognized authority 3 Proficient in operating agricultural drones and familiar with various drone models and spraying systems 4 In-depth knowledge of crop types growth stages and agronomic practices 5 Strong understanding of safety protocols and guidelines for drone operations 6 Ability to interpret aerial maps satellite images and other relevant data for flight planning and target identification 7 Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively 8 Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various stakeholders 9 Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and work in dynamic environments 10 Willingness to relocate to Hyderabad and work in assigned areas within Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states The work locations will vary as per project requirements and accommodation will be provided at the assigned work location Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 12 524 61 - 28 900 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Supplemental Pay Joining bonus Overtime pay Performance bonus Application Question s Are you willing to Relocate to assigned work site License Certification DGCA ISSUED RPC REMOTE PILOT CERTIFICATE Required Work Location In person
