About the Role

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant Consultant to work with our VCFO team on a freelance basis. This role will focus on managing a specific set of startup clients and will require expertise in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end deliverables for assigned clients, including bookkeeping, finalization of accounts, MIS, tax compliances, and preparation of financial statements.
- Act as the go-to financial advisor for these clients, ensuring compliance, timely reporting, and actionable insights.
- Work independently with high accountability while collaborating with the Treelife VCFO team and client stakeholders.
- Be available to work from our office 2–3 times a week as and when client requirements demand.

Requirements

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Prior experience managing multiple clients in an outsourcing/consulting setup.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to balance freelancing flexibility with ownership of high-quality deliverables.
