Job Description Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled SAP FICA Consultant with specialized expertise in the Utilities sector. This crucial role involves working with relevant SAP technologies to ensure smooth financial operations, particularly in contract accounts receivable and payable. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to business objectives through meticulous analysis, development, implementation, and troubleshooting within the Utilities - SAP FICA domain. Roles and Responsibilities: - Business Requirements Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and requirements specific to customer financials, billing, invoicing, payments, and collections within the utilities industry. - SAP FICA Configuration: Design, configure, and customize SAP FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) modules to meet utilities-specific needs. This includes master data (Business Partner, Contract Account, Contract), Billing and Invoicing processes, Payment Processing, Dunning, Collections, Write-Offs, and Correspondence. - Utilities Industry Integration (IS-U): Implement and integrate SAP FICA with other relevant SAP IS-U (Industry Solution for Utilities) components, especially IS-U Billing and Meter Reading, ensuring seamless flow of financial data. - System Implementation & Deployment: Participate in the full lifecycle of SAP FICA implementations, including system setup, data migration strategies, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination, and post-go-live support. - Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex issues within the SAP FICA environment, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions for utilities clients. - Development Support: Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP developers) for custom developments (RICEFW objects) and enhancements to meet specific business requirements not covered by standard SAP FICA. - Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop comprehensive test scenarios, create detailed test cases, and conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, regression) to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of SAP FICA solutions. - Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation for FICA configurations, processes, and solutions. - Collaboration: Work closely with business users, project managers, financial teams, and other SAP functional/technical consultants to ensure successful project delivery and operational efficiency. Preferred Candidate Profile: - SAP FICA Expertise: Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable). - Utilities Industry Focus: Specific experience or strong understanding of business processes within the Utilities industry, including meter-to-cash cycle, billing, and customer service. - SAP IS-U Integration: Familiarity with the integration between SAP FICA and other SAP IS-U modules (e.g., Billing, Device Management, Customer Service). - Financial & Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of basic financial accounting principles, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation. - Analysis & Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP FICA solutions. Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities. - Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with business users and technical teams. Ability to work collaboratively in a project-oriented environment.
