Job Description THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER. Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned QA Engineer with deep expertise in test automation engineering and the ability to design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will create highly scalable automation frameworks, streamline build and deployment processes, improve system reliability, and ensure release stability across all environments. Minimum Qualifications: - Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python for automation development. - Strong hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies. - Proven expertise in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). - Experience with monitoring/observability systems such as Splunk or Grafana. - Solid familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms. - Extensive experience architecting UI test automation frameworks using tools like Cypress or Playwright. - Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting. Nice to Have: - Additional experience with Cypress or Playwright (if not already primary automation tools). - Hands-on experience with AI/ML to support test development, intelligent test selection, and smart automation techniques. - Experience with modern cloud deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, progressive delivery). - Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. Responsibilities: - Define and lead the quality engineering and CI/CD strategy across multiple teams and product lines. - Architect and implement enterprise-grade automation frameworks emphasizing scalability, reliability, and maintainability. - Build, enhance, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable, and repeatable software delivery. - Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (e.g., Splunk, Grafana). - Continuously optimize pipeline performance, reducing execution time and improving efficiency. - Architect cloud-native testing solutions leveraging AWS, Docker, and container orchestration. - Enable zero-downtime deployments and ensure consistent, reproducible environments. - Evaluate and integrate modern tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve test effectiveness and coverage. - Explore and adopt AI-driven approaches to enhance automation intelligence, test optimization, and failure analysis.
