Job Title: Associate - General Corporate (PE/VC Mandate)

Location: Delhi
Experience: 1-3 Years PQE

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join a team specializing in General Corporate matters with a focus on Private Equity and Venture Capital transactions. The role offers exposure to complex and high-value investment deals involving startups, investors, and corporates.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents including shareholders agreements, share subscription agreements, and term sheets

- Conduct legal due diligence and prepare detailed due diligence reports

- Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and related issues

- Coordinate with clients and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction execution

- Manage documentation and timelines for deal closings

Candidate Profile

- 1-3 years PQE in General Corporate practice, preferably with exposure to PE/VC transactions

- Strong understanding of Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI regulations, and other relevant laws

- Demonstrated experience in deal execution and client interaction

- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

- Law degree from a reputed institute
