We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator who is responsible for the development performance integrity and security of database systems The main duties include maintaining adherence to a data management policy and improving the overall efficiency of a company s database framework Responsibilities Installation of RDBMS software and creation of Oracle databases on windows Linux platform Good knowledge of PL SQL and exp-imp data pump utility Creating users allocation to appropriate table space as with necessary privileges and roles for all databases Monitoring backups troubleshooting security user maintenance reporting migrations upgrades data copying etc Work with application teams on database design and database issues Disaster recovery and database restoration Experience with at least one of PostgreSQL MS-SQL and MongoDB Basic understanding of cloud environments preferably Azure and AWS Data warehouse experience Database performance tuning and configuring stats pack report Work with Engineering teams to address concerns and maintain database standards Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors Recommend and implement emerging database technologies Create and manage database reports visualizations and dashboards Create automation for repeating database tasks Qualifications 6-9 years experience of implementing database solutions Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools Advanced knowledge of Oracle database security backup and recovery and performance monitoring standards Good understanding of relational data modeling Familiarity with data replication using ADG and Oracle Goldengate Monitor and maintain system health and security Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Python Bash shell scripting and SQL Clear understanding of Data Structures and Object-Oriented Principles Multiple years of experience supporting horizontally scalable highly available highly resilient and low latency applications Multiple years of experience with Cloud-native development and Container Orchestration tools Serverless Docker Kubernetes OpenShift etc Experience in cloud native technologies and patterns AWS Google Cloud Education Bachelors degree University degree or equivalent experience Job Family Group TechnologyJob Family InfrastructureTime Type Full timeCiti is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin disability or status as a protected veteran Citigroup Inc and its subsidiaries Citi invite all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and or apply for a career opportunity review View the poster View the View the View the Citigroup
