About MUFG Global Service MGS MUFG Bank Ltd is Japan s premier bank with a global network spanning in more than 40 markets Outside of Japan the bank offers an extensive scope of commercial and investment banking products and services to businesses governments and individuals worldwide MUFG Bank s parent Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc MUFG is one of the world s leading financial groups Headquartered in Tokyo and with over 360 years of history the Group has about 120 000 employees and offers services including commercial banking trust banking securities credit cards consumer finance asset management and leasing The Group aims to be the world s most trusted financial group through close collaboration among our operating companies and flexibly respond to all the financial needs of our customers serving society and fostering shared and sustainable growth for a better world MUFG s shares trade on the Tokyo Nagoya and New York stock exchanges For more informat Provide legal support and advice to management on relevant legal issues Provie legal support and advice to business and support functions for various day to day operational matters Drafting Reviewing and vetting of various contractual documents like Inter Affiliate Agreement IAA Vendor Contracts SOWs Addendums NDA etc Draft and continually review various standard templates of contracts NDA to ensure compliance with local regulations as well as company standard templates Ensure compliance with the internal controls statutory regulations and other formalities Handle litigation as and when required Act as a Subject Matter Expert SME to the Board CEO and other senior business leaders providing legal financial and strategic advice Keep up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the companys legal function To assist Company Secretary of MES India in various corporate secretarial activities both periodic and event based Assist the Company Secretary to conduct convene and record meetings of the Board of Directors EXCO Management Committees etc in close coordination with internal stakeholders To maintain and update statutory records and ensure all statutory filings are completed within timelines Liaise with external consultants such as lawyers auditors and CS retainer Work collaboratively across functional teams within the Company to ensure effective and efficient operations Engage and collaborate with the teams for ensuring improved understanding of the requirements and promote better adherence and enhanced risk control over the guideline Job Requirements Bachelors Degree and Membership of ICSI India is a must Preferable to have LLB CA CWA CFA and other professional qualifications Minimum of 6 to 10 years of work experience preferably in MNC organisations involved in Financial Services or IT ITES business Knowledge and experience in using AI for simplifying CS and Legal processes Process oriented coupled with a strong ability to develop appropriate program enhancing strategies Detail-oriented and organized execution Good organisational prioritisation and time-management skills Excellent communication presentation and interpersonalskills Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite i e Excel Access PowerPoint and Word Proactive and enthusiastic to take up new challenges and tasks
