Job Description - Process and ensure timely and accurate payroll cycles, including salary, wages, bonuses, and deductions. - Verify payroll data and perform reconciliations to maintain data accuracy. - Manage and update payroll records for new hires, terminations, and employee status changes. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. - Prepare and submit mandatory payroll-related reports to government agencies. - Maintain comprehensive payroll documentation, policies, and procedures. - Oversee payroll software and systems, ensuring data integrity and resolving technical issues. - Collaborate with IT teams for payroll system updates and enhancements. - Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues raised by employees. - Provide training and support to employees regarding payroll processes and systems. - Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures and records to ensure compliance and accuracy. - Reconcile payroll accounts and promptly resolve discrepancies. - Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll alignment and accuracy. - Communicate payroll matters effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. - Identify areas for payroll process improvements and implement solutions. - Apply best practices to enhance payroll efficiency and ensure continuous improvement.
