Job Category Engineering Technologists Technicians About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Adani Green Energy Limited AGEL AGEL is part of the Adani Group s promise to provide a better cleaner and greener future for India Driven by the Group s philosophy of Growth with Goodness the Company develops builds owns operates and maintains utility- scale grid-connected solar wind farm and energy storage Hydro PSP and Battery projects The electricity generated is supplied to central and state government entities and government- backed corporations On the back of long-term Power Purchase Agreements PPAs with central and state government entities AGEL has leveraged its capabilities and expanded its presence across 12 Indian states With the integration of pump storage and battery storage projects with large solar wind portfolio AGEL shall be best placed amongst peers to supply round-the-clock green power to India s grid The Company continuously adopts and deploys the latest technologies in its projects With the target of 50 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030 AGEL is driving India on its renewable energy journey Job Purpose Engineer - SAS is responsible for designing configuring and deploying Substation Automation Systems SAS with an emphasis on system performance optimization seamless integration and strict compliance with technical and industry standards Responsibilities To develop and integrate SCADA PLC RTU SAS and RONC Central control and command center fo all renewable Power Plants The SCADA Engineer is to assist the O M SCADA Manager and complete O M team with fulfilling the needs of our Business requirements by providing timely precise appropriate and thorough service Working of Substation Automation System -SAS and corresponding know how on integrating IEDs Devices Network elements like switches RTUs Routers etc Working on Cyber security aspects Configuration of fire walls To provide prompt resolution and high-quality technical support for the SAS and communication systems of AGEL installations of Solar Wind Substation etc in both greenfield and brownfield projects Support Substation Automation and Communications lead and mentor the SAS communication team ensuring end-to-end responsibility for value engineering Factory Acceptance Testing and commissioning of substation automation SCADA systems FOTE PLCC systems To develop and integrate SCADA PLC RTU SAS and RONC Central control and command center for all renewable Power Plants Coordination with other department ENOC other stake holders for related matters Train team at HO and site for skill enhancement managerial aspects Help in design panel layouts and wiring diagrams should be able to develop and document SCADA and PLC programs Design monitor and integrate wired and wireless Ethernet and Serial data networks and other network equipment e g switches firewall routers etc Perform site surveys and analysis Supervise the construction of instrumentation and control systems Troubleshoot analyze repair report on and recommend perform service of SCADA PLC RTU SAS etc Perform and document SCADA equipment verification and calibration Maintains engineering records lists and reports as required to ensure compliance with the work schedule adherence to the budget adherence to design specification and to ensure engineering problems are monitored and resolved Be a primary contact to assigned sites and report their needs concerns or requests to the O M SCADA Manager Clean and organize assigned working areas and tools Manage material procurement as directed Ensure quality assurance safety and environment standards by way of well-defined review mechanism Optimize the available inventory and procure new inventories as per need for the allocated area Qualifications Educational Qualifications BE B Tech Electrical or Electronics Work Experience 3 - 6 Years - Strong academic foundation in Cyber Security Fire wall configuration power electronics control systems and microprocessors - Proficiency in simulation and modeling tools for power electronic systems
