We are looking for Microbiologists for our mineral water plant - Konark Beverages Industries at Jarka Odisha KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Testing and Analysis Conducting microbiological tests on water samples raw materials and finished products to detect and identify harmful microorganisms Quality Control Ensuring adherence to established quality standards and regulatory requirements such as BIS and FSSAI standards for mineral water production Compliance Maintaining records and documentation required for NABL National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories and other relevant certifications Laboratory Management Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment preparing culture media and reagents and ensuring proper aseptic techniques Data Analysis and Reporting Recording analyzing and interpreting test results preparing reports and providing recommendations for corrective actions Troubleshooting Investigating and resolving any microbial contamination issues or deviations from quality standards Process Improvement Developing and optimizing microbiological testing techniques and procedures to enhance quality control Collaboration Working with other team members including chemists and quality control personnel to ensure product safety and quality Training and Support Providing technical support and training to other staff members on laboratory procedures and quality control protocols Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Microbiology or a related field Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques including microbial testing culture media preparation and aseptic techniques Familiarity with relevant quality standards and regulations such as BIS and FSSAI for mineral water Experience in a laboratory setting preferably in the food or beverage industry Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location In person
