We have urgent opening for Azure SQL Database, We are looking for candidate who have good experience on below skills set & Candidate must be ok to work 24* 7 environment.

Exp: 5 to 8 years

Skill Set : Azure SQL Database+ Performance Tuning+ Clustering and Log Shipping + SQL on-prem to Azure+ Migration

Notice Period: immediate joiner only

Job Location: Bangalore / Noida / Mumbai / Pune/Gurgaon

Shift Time- 24*7 (rotational shift)

Skills possessed and measured:-

- Candidate must be familiar with SQL technology and various core components of SQL in order to perform the SQL DBA JOB.
- Hands on Experience in with SQL on-premises and Azure Backup strategies. Migration and assessment of SQL on-prem to Azure.
- Candidate must be already to working in 24 by 7 environment
- Must have skills around handling Migration & Database Upgrade, Log Shipping, Clustering, Performance Tuning, Performance Issues.
- Sound knowledge on troubleshooting performance issues
- Hands on Experience with writing database queries and Knowledge of database design and theories
- Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools and Ola Hallengren scripts
- Familiarity and hands on experience with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS.
- Monitor database performance, performance tuning and implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.
- Familiarity with database management best practices and IT security best practices
- Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
- Excellent attention to detail, with Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms.
- Good multitasking abilities
