An interior designer is responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional interior spaces They work with clients to understand their needs develop design plans select materials and oversee the execution of the design ensuring it aligns with both the client s vision and safety regulations Key Responsibilities Client Interaction Communicating with clients to understand their needs preferences and budget Design Development Creating conceptual designs space plans and detailed drawings or 3D renderings Material Selection Choosing appropriate materials furniture lighting and decor based on design plans and client requirements Project Management Managing timelines budgets and coordinating with contractors engineers and other specialists Presentation Preparing presentations and mood boards to showcase design concepts to clients Supervision Overseeing the implementation of the design ensuring it meets the client s goals and safety standards Trend Research Staying updated on the latest design trends and materials Problem Solving Addressing any issues that arise during the design and construction process Collaboration Working effectively with other team members including senior designers architects and contractors Budgeting and Estimating Providing accurate cost estimates and managing project expenses Skills Required Creativity and Design Skills The ability to visualize and develop unique and functional design solutions Technical Knowledge Understanding of building codes construction methods and design software Communication Skills Ability to clearly communicate design ideas and effectively collaborate with clients and team members Problem-Solving Skills Ability to identify and resolve design challenges effectively Attention to Detail Ensuring accuracy and precision in design plans and execution Time Management Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines Project Management Overseeing all aspects of a project from conception to completion Interpersonal Skills Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and team members Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 33 697 57 - 35 994 32 per month Experience Interior design 2 years Required Field sales 1 year Required Location Kannur Kerala Required
