Job Description

key Responsibilities

- Data Coding:
- Execute clinical medical data coding tasks for assigned projects, including activities during study start-up, maintenance, and completion stages.
- Career Development:
- Collaborate with management to enhance career growth, interpersonal skills, and meet competency standards.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with the Coding team and Lead Data Reviewer to provide project-specific coding updates and implement solutions to coding-related issues.
- Documentation Review:
- Review the Data Management Plan (DMP) and Study-Specific Dictionary Coding Conventions to ensure accuracy and alignment with coding standards.
- Quality Assurance:
- Support the setup, maintenance, and closure of data management activities to ensure consistent, high-quality handling of coded clinical data.
- Client Satisfaction:
- Contribute to client satisfaction by ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, medical-coded clinical data.
- Training:
- Maintain up-to-date coding skills by participating in internal and external training sessions and seminars.
- Global Support:
- Collaborate with global project teams to deliver on-time, budget-compliant, and accurate medical coding data.
- Process Improvement:
- Propose and support process efficiency and improvement initiatives on assigned projects.
- Dictionary Verification:
- Assist with dictionary verification tasks (e.g., MedDRA, WHO Drug) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Additional Duties:
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Minimum Required:

- University or college degree in life sciences, health sciences, information technology, or a related field
- or a certification in allied health professions from an accredited institution
- or equivalent relevant work experience
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Experience

- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in clinical data management
- Solid understanding of:
- Medical coding processes and tools (e.g., Medidata Coder, Central Coding)
- Clinical trial processes, including data management, clinical operations, and biometrics
- Quality management systems and clinical systems applications
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills
