About the Business:

As India's largest manufacturer of forklift trucks, Godrej Material Handling offers an extensive range of forklifts, which include electric, LPG, and diesel counterbalanced forklifts up to 25 tonne capacity, warehouse trucks, and specialised trucks for specific applications. Job Profile:

The incumbent would be responsible for the following:

Customer Satisfaction

- Performing fatigue analysis and modal analysis to ensure the durability and reliability of designs

- Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation of analysis results

- Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and team members. Stay updated with the latest advancements in FEA tools and techniques

Competitive edge

- Conducting linear and non-linear structural analysis to evaluate the performance of components and assemblies

- Analyzing various load cases applicable to automotive, off-road, and construction equipment

- Developing and validating shell and solid models for structural analysis

Cost reduction

- Performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Hyperworks tools HyperMesh, OptiStruct, HyperWorks Motion

- Collaborating with design and engineering teams to optimize designs based on FEA results

Organizational Imperatives

- Actively participating and originating Kaizens

- Actively involving in Business Excellence initiatives

- Adhere to Compliance and Safe Working Environment

Special Skills Required:

- Essential:
- Proficiency in HyperMesh, OptiStruct, and HyperWorks Motion.
- Strong knowledge of shell and solid meshing techniques.
- Experience in linear and nonlinear structural analysis.
- Familiarity with load cases in automotive, off-road, and construction equipment industries.
- Experience in fatigue analysis and modal analysis.
- Working knowledge of PTC (Parametric Technologies Corporation) Creo is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred:

- Knowledge PTC Creo
- Knowledge of Windchill PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
