Responsibilities Senior Lead Analyst - Risk will be responsible for identifying assessing monitoring and mitigating the front-line operational risks that may arise from the business activities processes systems and external events of the organization The Associate Manager Accounting Risk works closely with the BU and SCBU Finance organization in the Enterprise PGS senior management leaders across India and the US and other risk functions across PGS and Principal Financial group to ensure that the operational risk framework is aligned with the strategic objectives and risk appetite of the organization This role will be part of Enterprise Financial Services team EFS EFS team provides finance and accounting services to stakeholders globally This role reports to Associate Director - AccountingDirect Reports None Individual Contributor role Essential deliverables the section helps understand the job ownership and accountability Develop and implement the operational risk policies procedures tools and methodologies in accordance with the regulatory requirements and industry best practices Conduct regular operational risk assessments and reviews to identify and evaluate the key operational risks and controls across the organization Monitor and report on the operational risk indicators incidents losses and action plans to the senior management and relevant committees Facilitate the operational risk scenario analysis RCSAs and stress testing to quantify the potential impact and likelihood of extreme events Provide guidance and support to the SCBU Finance and BU finance and other risk functions on the operational risk management issues and initiatives Coordinate and participate in the operational risk audits inspections and regulatory examinations Manage and develop the operational risk team and foster a strong risk culture within the organization Have proven expertise in working across-geography inclusive and diverse teams which are skilled and future-ready in risk domain Work with the BCP and Business teams in strengthening the BIAs and revisit RTO RPO periodically Consult and communicate with business partners to understand business strategy and make recommendations on potential risks and mitigations Skilled in managing global stakeholders across geographies and navigate the global matrix organization through collaboration and influence Stay updated on industry trends market conditions and competitors to better serve business Understand and represent Principal code of conduct core values leadership expectations and stay guided by them while making decisions leading teams partnering and coaching to build strong succession Qualifications Qualifications-Certifications-Relevant Work ExperiencePreferred educational background bachelors masters degree strong knowledge of the operational risk framework methodologies and tools as well as the relevant regulatory standards and guidelines Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills Must have a good knowledge and experience in the area of Finance Accounting certification in operational risk management is preferred Total years of industry experience Minimum 8-10 years professional experience in BFSI IT ITeS industry of which at least 3 years of experience in operational risk management internal audit or compliance in the financial services industry preferably in the Finance and Accounting domain
