Title: Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer – Tower Design Department: Design Level: JML Location: Gurugram Reporting to: Lead – TL Design ROLE DESCRIPTION (POSITION SUMMARY) The role holder is accountable for for assisting in the design, analysis, and optimization of high-voltage transmission towers. The role involves working closely with senior engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in structural engineering and an interest in power transmission infrastructure. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist in the structural design and analysis of transmission towers using industry-standard software and manual calculations. - Perform load calculations, material selection, and stress analysis to optimize tower performance and cost-effectiveness. - Preparation of sag-tension calculation, loading calculation, clearance diagram & loading tree as per client’s specification. - Preparation of foundation designs for transmission line towers. - Support in pre tendering engineering i.E., preliminary design and engineering, working out - bill of quantities and other technical support to commercial team for bid preparation. - Coordinate with site at time of project execution and commissioning. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE - Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or relevant field. Master’s degree will be preferred. - Minimum 4-7 Years of experience in Tower and Foundation Design. - Hands on experience in PLS Tower / StaadPro
