Company Name VARITE India Private Limited About The Client An Indian multinational information technology IT consulting company headquartered in Noida The company has offices in 52 countries and over 225 944 employees The Client is a global IT services and consulting company that offers a wide range of services and products across various industries like IT Infrastructure Services Cybersecurity Services Cloud Services Big Data and Analytics Internet of Things IoT Solutions Semiconductor Services and Enterprise Software Products Essential Job Functions L1 level Provide 24x7 support on a rotational basis to maintain system stability Monitor SAP applications using Solution Manager identify issues and recommend solutions Conduct health checks for production and non-production environments Manage batch jobs interfaces and channel monitoring Perform SAP Kernel upgrades and system documentation maintenance Handle transport requests monitor system backups L2 leve Provide Installation Configuration and Support SAP ERP application platforms Duplicate SAP systems using data replication methods approved by SAP Migrate SAP systems from one platform to another Support Global PO team to migrate interfaces from current ERP platform to SAP Integration Suite Plan and execute lifecycle activities to ensure the SAP ERP is secure supportable and functional for the business Provide after-hours support as needed including a rotating 24x7 on-call support schedule Proactively review coordinate and apply platform patches as required Provide proactive improvement technical upgrades and support of platforms environments Determine and implement proper monitoring points and tuning alerts to be able to monitor the platforms proactively Create and maintain platform administration documentation outlining administration policies and practices Support the Managed Service Provider teams to ensure the correct application of the Standard Operational Pr ocedures and enhance daily operational functions L3 level Manage SAP system installations configurations and upgrades ECC BW PO etc Administer SAP HANA databases perform system tuning and resolve issues Support Global PO team to migrate interfaces from current ERP platform to SAP Integration Suite Duplicate SAP systems using data replication methods approved by SAP Plan and execute lifecycle activities to ensure the SAP ERP is secure supportable and functional for the business Proactively review coordinate and apply platform patches as required Provide proactive improvement technical upgrades and support of platforms environments Work with cross-functional teams for smooth project execution Create and maintain platform administration documentation outlining administration policies and practices Handle SAP security system hardening etc Management of critical major incident Qualifications L1 level Skills Experience Experience managing SAP technologies as a Basis Administrator Hands-on experience with multiple SAP products in BASIS administration Strong technical foundation and problem-solving skills Ability to support complex SAP landscapes Soft Skills Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills independently Verbal and written communication skills Team player with a proactive mindset Ability to support complex SAP landscapes L2 leve Skills Experience Experience managing SAP technologies as a Basis Administrator Hands-on experience with multiple SAP products in BASIS administration Strong technical foundation and problem-solving skills Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms Mandatory skill to ensure smooth operation and upkeep of high-traffic services Expertise in Basis support with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and swiftly Experience in SAP Security Experience performing the DR test Soft Skills Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills independently Strong verbal and written communication skills Team player with a proactive mindset Ability to couch junior colleagues L3 level Skills Experience Experience managing SAP technologies as a Basis Administrator Expected to be SME Hands-on experience with multiple SAP products in BASIS administration Strong technical foundation and problem-solving skills Engage with multiple teams and support key decisions Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams Ability to drive Continues improvement major incidents problem management High level autonomy in the technical area Ability identify and manage risks propose solutions Great understanding of SAP architecture Open for learning new technologies Soft Skills Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills independently Strong verbal aaznd written communication skills Team player with a proactive mindset Ability to couch junior colleagues Ability to adopt changes Ability to respond to senior management and manage escalations All Experience running big environments 20k users 10TB databases English B2 Exp -
