Key Responsibilities Understanding Hiring Requirements Collaborate with hiring managers to identify manpower needs and role expectations. Develop job descriptions and specifications based on discussions with department heads. Gain clarity on technical skills, educational qualifications, and soft skills required for each role. Talent Sourcing & Attraction Identify potential candidates through job portals, professional networks, employee referrals, career fairs, and campus drives. Utilize social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, and Glassdoor to attract quality candidates. Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs. Promote the organization’s brand to create awareness and attract top talent. Resume Review & Screening Review resumes and applications to shortlist candidates that closely match job requirements. Conduct preliminary telephonic or video interviews to evaluate communication skills, career goals, and overall suitability. Administer assessments or screening tests if required for technical and specialized roles. Interview Coordination Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers while ensuring smooth communication. Share interview details, guidelines, and feedback collection forms with both parties. Assist in panel coordination for group discussions, technical rounds, or assessment centers. Offer Negotiation & Onboarding Discuss job offers, salary structures, benefits, and other compensation elements with shortlisted candidates. Negotiate salary expectations while balancing organizational budget and candidate satisfaction. Release offer letters and ensure candidates accept the offer within deadlines. Coordinate with HR operations for seamless onboarding and induction of new hires. Maintaining Recruitment Metrics Track hiring statistics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source of hire. Provide weekly and monthly recruitment reports to management. Evaluate effectiveness of sourcing channels and recruitment strategies. Market Awareness & Recruitment Trends Stay updated about current hiring practices, industry benchmarks, and competitor activities. Explore innovative recruitment methods like employer branding, employee advocacy, and virtual career fairs. Suggest improvements in recruitment policies and processes. Skills & Competencies Required Core HR & Recruitment Skills Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment process. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment management software. Understanding of compensation structures, job evaluation, and industry standards. Communication & Interpersonal Skills Excellent verbal and written communication to interact effectively with candidates and hiring managers. Ability to present organizational culture and job opportunities persuasively. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills. Analytical & Decision-Making Skills Capacity to assess resumes critically and match candidates with job requirements.
