Game Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Game Developer (Founding Team Member) based in Patna. He/She will be responsible for designing and programming game-play elements, developing and maintaining game systems, and collaborating with the team on creative input and direction. Daily tasks include writing clean, efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging, and staying current with industry trends and technologies.

This is a Startup which is looking out to Build a game team in Patna.The person will have an opportunity to be one of the founding team members with the ability to shape the Product and Overall Roadmap for the team right from the get go We are looking for someone with a Highly Creative mindset with the ability to blend fun mechanics with meaningful content. The person should have a Self-driven, proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop games for mobile devices (Android, iOS).
- Write high performance, scalable and generic code.
- Debugging and bug fixing in developed software.
- Participate in the design discussion, and come up with the right strategies and optimized approach to develop games/features.
- Create necessary documentation and share key learning across with the team.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of Experience with Unity, Unreal / Godot or general C# / .NET experience
- Proficiency in Game Programming
- Experience in designing game mechanics
- Hands-on experience with performance optimizations and cross-platform build pipelines
- Strong skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Game Design principles and methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related fields

More Information

- This role will start initially as Remote, but will be become a Hybrid with 3 days work from office within the next 6 months. You will have the opportunity to contribute to building the culture of a new company and and influence the direction of the Projects, right from the get go.
